The key to security

The key to security is knowledge.  You have to first know the vulnerabilities, to truly understand the threat to you.  The more you know about your padlock for instance, the better you understand which one is appropriat, or not, for your application.

If you have never heard of a bump key, then you wont know to look for a bump proof lock.  If you have never seen padlock shimming before, then you dont know how easily a thief can open you lock.  If you dont know how and which seals are vulnerable, then you wont know that  your belongings have been molested and resealed.
